King of the Ants

[Verse] The king of the ants is a friend of mine He likes to show me how the ants will die And every now and then he tries to play God Saying "Look what I've done Look what I've done" [Verse] The queen of the ants has been gone for years Took a wrong turn on the way to see The Sea Monkeys that she knew But she'll be back someday I'm sure she will But when she gets here She might not like What the king has done [Chorus] We try to bring back the queen of the ants By dancing to a radio that's broken And he's a slave to a colony that doesn't exist He tried to give them their independence But they're like "Oh What's the point?" [Verse] The king of the ants has a broken heart He thinks he's found someone to make him smile But she doesn't seem to care And I don't blame her She's too busy with the spiders and the crickets [Verse] The king of the ants is a friend of mine And I feel sorry for the things he's done And every now and then I try to play God Saying "Look what you've done Look what you've done" [Chorus] We try to bring back the queen of the ants By dancing to a radio that's broken And he's a slave to a colony that doesn't exist He tried to give them their independence But they're like "Oh What's the point?"
