The Most Stupid Loop EVER

(Intro – Spoken)* Normally… when you reach a town you haven’t done in ages… You stay there. You explore. You make it worthwhile. This time? Went to Walsall… then immediately left. --- *(Verse 1 – Morning Debate)* 664 from Southam side, Fields awake on the morning ride, Offchurch bends then Cubbington lane, Lillington roads once again. Debating hard in my own head— “Nuneaton maybe?” common sense said. But Birmingham won for reasons nil… Sometimes chaos just gets the will. --- *(Verse 2 – Tiny Connector)* U1 down to Parish Church glide, Middle Parade on a short little ride, Mini transfer, station bound— Another loop where logic’s drowned. 09:30 Chiltern came, Five coaches wearing polished frame, Leamington out through Warwick way, Cheaper than 09:01 that day. Rail fares move in ways unknown— Maths abandoned, facts postponed. --- *(Chorus)* 🎵 This the most pointless loop ever made, Miles of effort for choices strange, Went to towns just to leave again— Then somehow still got home my friend. No grand mission, no clear aim, Yet I’d probably do it all the same, Started Southam, ended there— So technically… the loop was fair. 🎵 --- *(Verse 3 – Walsall Side Quest)* 10:30 train to Walsall town, Three-car unit rolling down, Duddeston, Aston, Witton line, Perry Barr in decent time. Hamstead, Bescot, station call— Then arrived in curious Walsall. Strange old place, but lunch was king, Greggs inside the shopping ring. Tandoori something, standard style, Meal deal greatness for a while. --- *(Verse 4 – Immediate Retreat)* 11:20 back the other way, To Birmingham New Street same day. Tame Bridge Parkway then city core— Why’d I go there? Unsure. Barely a loop, barely a plan, Just transport done because I can. --- *(Chorus)* 🎵 This the most pointless loop ever made, Routes selected in mental haze, Reached Walsall, bought some food, Then escaped in under an hour’s mood. No clean purpose, no campaign flair, Just vibes and moving everywhere, Started Southam, ended there— So technically… the loop was fair. 🎵 --- *(Verse 5 – Long Distance for No Reason)* 12:06 LNR came through, Euston bound with a giant view, New Street first then International, Hampton-in-Arden conventional. Berkswell, Tile Hill, Canley too, Coventry where I jumped on cue. Could’ve got the X17 straight away— But no, I found another way. --- *(Bridge – The Needlessly Clever Bit)* 13:00 local rail return, Kenilworth stop where plans still burn. As I rolled in, there outside— X17 in perfect stride. Missed it? No. Ignored it? Maybe. This whole route was transport gravy. --- *(Verse 6 – Bus Home Arc)* Then X17 to Leamington Spa, North Leam roads from not too far. Genuinely the stupidest loop I’ve done, And maybe ever beneath the sun. Then 665 for the close of play, Whitnash roads then village way. Harbury once, then Harbury twice, Bishop’s Itchington rolling by nice. Bishop’s Hill and HS2 sight, Single decker not built right. Should’ve been double deck, clear to see— Instead a little box annoyed me. --- *(Final Chorus)* 🎵 This the most pointless loop ever made, Still somehow a classic day, Train to Walsall, straight back south, Laughing hard with every mouth. No one asked for routes this weird, Yet somehow they all cohered, Started Southam, ended there— So technically… the loop was fair. 🎵 --- *(Outro – Spoken)* Purpose: none. Entertainment: high. Walsall visited briefly. Loop certified.
