Ginga no Fogo” (“Swing Through Fire”
I heard the shots before I saw the boots Raiders cackling, high on loot. But I don’t fight with fists or fear, I dance side step, spin, and disappear. The rhythm moves through broken streets, My feet tap time to heartbeat beats. Mutants roar with fire and steel, But I samba past like it ain’t real. Ginga no fogo, baby, I glide, Through bullets and bones with swing in my stride. They aim, they shout, they stumble and fall— But I’m already gone, hips dodging it all. Super Mutants stomp and growl, But I twirl past their deadly scowl. Their chains and clubs, their howls and cries, Can’t catch a dancer who never dies. The Brotherhood in armor clanks, I two-step right past their flanks. No need for guns when you’ve got grace, I dip and spin through time and space. [Bridge – Slower, sultry] Through ash and ruins, my rhythm flows, Like rivers lost where mango grows. Ghouls may chase and dogs may bark, But I leave ‘em chasing shadows in the dark. Ginga no fogo, I dance through war, In rags and ribbons, rich though poor. So light your fires and curse my name— But you can’t catch what you can’t tame. Dance me through the wasteland heat, Where rhythm lives and death’s off-beat.
