23. DragonBall Z Snapperzaff - Before the World Bursts

There's something trembling in the air, A flash of fire from everywhere. The people wake, the creatures stare, While ash comes falling through the glare. Hold on, Feel the ground. Everybody fears what's coming down. The battle lines ignite the night, As reckless warriors crave the fight. The Z-Fighters and monsters rise in burning light, While frightened lives flee out of sight. Hold on, Feel the ground. Everybody fears what's coming down. The sirens cry along the street, The wounded Earth shakes underneath. One careless blow can end a town, While those who struck it gather round. Hold on, Feel the ground. Everybody fears what's coming down. The shelters fill with cries, Smoke covers up the skies. They call it victory when foes are gone, But Humans count the graves at dawn. They patch the roads, rebuild the walls, Then wait to hear the warning calls. No promise holds, no hero knows Which peaceful field the next blast blows. The Earth has scars beneath her green, From every war the skies have seen. She bears the pride of mighty men, Then prays she won't be torn again. Hold on, Feel the ground. Everybody fears what's coming down. Then something changes in the sky, No blazing threat, no battle cry. Snapperzaff arrives nearby, And reads the fear in every eye. He sees the damage, counts the cost, The homes, the dreams, the people lost. He folds his arms and shakes his head: “That's quite enough of this,” he said. Stand down, Hear that sound. Something stronger turned the danger round. He dims the fire, stills the sun, And ends the war before it's won. No grand attack, no proud display, He simply takes the threat away. Breathe now, Feel that change. Everybody knows the Earth is safe again. Breathe now, Hear that sound. No more frightened children underground. Rest now, Night is still. No one has to fear another fighter's will. Breathe now, Morning came. Everybody knows the world won't be the same. Before the world could burst... Someone finally said, “Enough.”
