[Contemporary Christian Gospel Musical Introduction] [Verse 1] When the days grow short and the nights are long, Burdens pile up and the trials come so fast. But when the weight of life pulls me down, I let it drop me to my knees and I call out his name.............. [Chorus] Oh, mighty God! My shield, my strength and my hope......... My comfort through every trial and tribulation! In Your hands! I will place my life, my hope and my faith.......... To You be the glory! To You all praises. I know You will provide. [Verse 2] When you're at your weakest point, Expect trials to come your way. But fear not! Put on the full armor of the Lord God Almighty! Lift up your eyes, oh, lift up your arms. Cry out to the heavens............ [Chorus] Oh, mighty God! My shield, my strength and my hope......... My comfort through every trial and tribulation! In Your hands! I will place my life, my hope and my faith.......... To You be the glory! To You all praises. I know You will provide. [Musical Interlude] [Verse 3] When the storm clouds gather overhead, And the thunder shakes the ground beneath my feet, I remember every time You carried me through, And I stand firm, unshaken, in the promise You gave............ [Bridge] Mighty Lord God Above Stand with me tonight Your power is my strength [Chorus] Oh, mighty God! My shield, my strength and my hope......... My comfort through every trial and tribulation! In Your hands! I will place my life, my hope and my faith.......... To You be the glory! To You all praises. I know You will provide.
