Heartbreak Outbreak - The Fireborn Genesis, pt V

Screens went white in Times Square rain, One small hand in a wall of flame. Mama froze when the footage played, Daddy heard that firelight lullaby fade. Ash came down like a funeral sheet, Red lights bled through the crowded street. Blackfall lied, but the signal stayed— Three hearts broke then the world fucking changed. Mama saw the hand in fire, Same small reach from bedroom wires. Same damn eyes in the camera frame, Same little girl they stripped of name. Daddy saw the white room bleed, Raw wrists locked where the red lights screamed. Plastic mask and the speaker hiss, Blackwood carved every wound like this. Crowd backed up when the ash came low, Phones held high for the horror show. Someone yelled, “MONSTERS!” someone prayed, Someone ran when the first eyes changed. Mama shook like a loaded wire, Daddy breathed gasoline and fire. No more chains, no more cage, Two hearts cracked into a holy fucking rage. The lullaby crawled through the emergency feed, Mama whispered, “That’s our baby on the screen.” Daddy looked up with blood in his teeth, Said, “Now let the whole damn city grieve.” This is a heartbreak outbreak, Feel the bedrock shake. One small hand in the flame, Shout her name, shout her name. Ash drifts thick in our wake, Hear the hard lines quake. We don’t run, we don’t break— Now the sky screams her name. Screens kept looping that final frame, Small hand raised in a crown of flame. Every billboard burned her face, Every siren lost its place. Ash hit skin like a warning shot, Croatoan woke in the blood they got. One man laughed while his shadow split, One girl screamed and the streetlights quit. Cops pushed in with their rifles raised, Blackfall masks in the red-light haze. Mama turned with her eyes gone bright, Daddy cracked the fucking barricade wide. Crowd went wild when the concrete rolled, Glass rained down like glittering coal. No more cover, no clean escape, Heartbreak spread like a goddamn plague. That lullaby warped through the siren scream, Mama saw God in a broken screen. Daddy laughed once, then the power drained— Said, “Let every motherfucker feel her name.” Three hearts beat in a motel room, Cheap night light and the smell of June. Mama sang while the storm rolled by, Daddy kept one hand on the blinds. Three hearts ran under stolen names, Gas-station coffee and highway rain. Little hands on a windowpane, Drawing suns through the ashfall stains. Then white coats came... with a black van choir, Took one spark... from a house of fire. Called her “subject,” called her “proof,” Called us monsters for loving truth. Now two hearts hit... like warning drums, One grave burns... where the blackout comes. Mama screamed... through the falling ash, Daddy made... the whole world crack! Blackfall drones cut the smoky air, Spotlights searched for the broken pair. Mama raised one burning hand, Every screen went black on command. Daddy stepped where the pavement split, Boot heel deep in the power grid. Subway screamed like a wounded thing, Steel tracks bent when the sirens sing. Crowd went feral in the ash and rain, Croatoan lit every vein. Some grew claws, some caught flame, Some just cried out the child’s name. Times Square fell to a pulse of red, Billboards flashed what the dead girl said. No more lie, no clean way out, Heartbreak opened the mouth of a Blackout. The lullaby died in the speaker feed, Mama said, “Now the dark can bleed.” Daddy smiled through the ash and pain, Said, “Sing it loud, let them fear her name.” This is a heartbreak outbreak, Feel the bedrock shake. One small hand in the flame, Shout her name, shout her name. Ash drifts thick in our wake, Hear the hard lines quake. We don’t run, we don’t break— Now the sky screams her name. Heart—heart—heartbreak, Outbreak in the ash and rain. Three hearts gone through the flame, Two left screaming her name. Red sky, No escape, Sirens drowned in the fucking quake, Manhattan died when the lights went out... "Now feel the fucking Blackout!"
