I'm too old to grow up. too young to slow down . I still get drunk and I still burn down . still hang out with a rowdy crowd. I still hit the back roads in my hometown . I still watch the game on Saturday night . I try to hit church every Sunday morning . I know one day it's all going to end one thing they can say is I've been a good friend. Andd when my time comes, BURY ME IN MY BOOTS AND A PAIR OF JEANS lay me down in the bed of my truck in my pocket leave a couple of bucks. A pack of papers and roll me one up. Make sure my cooler is full of beer. Don't forget my rod and reel. Then push me off the pier. Yeah I've made mistakes and I've paid for them. most of my sins I've repent . I've asked the Lord to forgive and I'm pretty sure that he did. I tried my best ,yeah I gave it a shot, I'm not afraid of death ,no I lived a lot. when it's all over and my soul goes up, my last request when my time comes... Don't you fret. no don't you fear I'm on the water with my buddies up Here there's always a bite and ice cold beer. And when it's your time I'll meet you at the pier.
