Mother Earth

In the dark of the night the drums start to echo a call from below the roots come alive They dance in a circle the shadows are whispering a song born of silence the old becomes new Mother Earth, your heartbeat so ancient, so timeless I feel you beside me you open my soul Mother Earth, your heartbeat so steady, so quiet you hold me in safety you make me feel whole The stars move in circles my spirit feels light we’re breathing as one we’re lost in the night Connected to all that lives and has been you carry me gently so simple, so clean. Mother Earth, your heartbeat so ancient, so timeless I feel you beside me you open my soul Mother Earth, your heartbeat so steady, so quiet you hold me in safety you make me feel whole
