Pentecost Steel
[Inspired by Acts 2] --- [Intro] It didn’t come soft. Not a breeze. Not a breeze. The forge cracked open— and fire fell. --- [Verse 1] Flames descended — no place to run The floor split Tongues erupted — the forge begun And none could quit --- [Verse 2] Steel in the voice, breath like a bell Sounded the war that the silence fell Language twisted, laws were torn The Church was fire from chains reborn --- [Chorus] Pentecost steel! Tongues in flame! Spirit thunder! Truth unchained! --- [Verse 3] Peter stood with ash in his veins He named their guilt without delay The forge had walked into the room And none could speak the same --- [Bridge] We do not whisper. We do not hide. We burn through walls, shout through trials, bleed truth and rise. --- [Breakdown] Fire spoke — the temple shook Tongues arose — the Word unhooked Chains fell — the priests grew pale The wind had flame — the truth had scale We are the ones with nothing left We are the hammers, breath to breath We are the flame that speaks in storm We are the steel the Spirit formed --- [Final Chorus] Pentecost steel! (Burn and speak!) Tongues on fire! (Strike the weak!) Spirit moving! (Walls collapse!) Word like thunder! (Nothing lasts!) --- [Outro] And still it burns… And still it speaks… And still the steel is fire.
