☕ Cover art by Coffee ☕ ╔═══════════════ 📰 ANNOUNCEMENT 📰 ═══════════════╗ First off, thank you all for stopping by for this announcement 🛑ヾ(•ω•`)o ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been posting much on Suno lately, and I’ve also taken down almost all my songs. Part of it was irl problems, part of it was platform/community burnout that’s been slowly demotivating me for a long time now. (っ- ‸ - ς) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ To put things simply, I enjoy the creative side of things, making music, art, videos, etc. But I’ve never really enjoyed the constant push for visibility through like trading and excessive promo, especially when so much of it feels time-consuming and artificial. GT in particular doesn't help much with this, given how inflated some songs get through botted or alt-account engagement. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ On top of that, seeing publicly airing "drama" every other day like a 1/5⭐long running sitcom and community spaces being less like places for music and more like middle school where someone's always trying to start beef just for the sake of it gets exasperating after nearly 2 years straight. (Part of why I hardly engage in almost any Suno related servers anymore.) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ That said, there are still some genuinely good aspects. I’ve met some amazing fwens on here that I’m really grateful for, and of course all the lovely listeners who’ve supported the songs I’ve made up until now. The comments and kindness I’ve received over time really meant a lot to me seriously (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) Especially knowing how rough some comment sections can get (；´∀｀) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ At the end of the day, this means I’ll be shifting my focus toward YouTube. I may still appear on other people’s pages for collabs here and there, but there won’t be any more official releases on Suno. This way I can spend more energy on the music itself, instead of everything else, and I'll also be able to try more cool ideas with the extra time I'll have.
