VERSE 1 His divine power has given us everything we need, Life and godliness, already planted as a seed. Not a thing left out, not a promise left undone, He called us by His glory through His Son. He gave us something the world could never give, Exceedingly great promises to live. To escape the corruption, the lust, the slow decay, And share in His own nature every day.
