Overpopulation, dwindling resources, and a collapsing environment forced a radical new beginning. Old nations fell apart, while China used its technological advantage to lay the foundations for a new world order. Yet it was no empire of oppression; it became a democracy in the truest sense: referendums determined every course, money was abolished, and every citizen contributed to the collective. Those who refused to do their part were given the โlast ticketโ โ exile to Obsidian, a planet where survival depended on relentless labor and struggle. With the unification of humanity began the greatest construction project in history: the Orion fleet. Eleven of these colossal ships were built over decades of shared effort โ not miracles of an elite, but the achievements of united humanity. They carried the hope that new worlds could be claimed beyond Earth โ not through magic, but through engineering, science, and determination. ๐ Episode II โ Aurora IX In the year 2145, Orion XI leads its crew into a system lit by a restless red dwarf star. Small yet turbulent, it constantly emits radiation that has shaped its eleven planets: packed close together, so near that from the surface of one world its neighbors can be seen clearly in the sky. Among them lies Aurora IX, a young and violent planet, its surface scarred by constant upheaval. The atmosphere is dense, charged with electricity, and torn apart by storms sweeping endlessly across its continents. Lightning rips through the skies, while hurricane winds devour landscapes. Volcanoes hurl lava into the air, ashfall dims the light of the sun, and the gravitational pull of nearby planets keeps the ground in perpetual motion. Tsunamis crash into coasts, sand and ash storms bury the plains. Aurora IX is a world in turmoil, raw and untamed โ yet for that very reason, a candidate for terraforming. ๐ Episode III โ Approach (the music) The dropship, two hundred meters across, detaches from Orion XI and descends into the dense atmosphere. Lightning strikes the shields, shockwaves from eruptions batter the hull, and the sensors begin to flicker. Beneath the clouds unfolds a panorama of fire and storm: lava spilling into jagged valleys, walls of water and ash rising at the horizon. The crew struggles to maintain course as electromagnetic interference blinds their systems, while they must release the terraforming stations at their calculated coordinates. Each module that anchors itself into the trembling ground marks a fragile step toward the future, a small island of stability in a world still rejecting everything foreign. But terraforming does not only mean shaping the surface. While the dropship unloads its stations, Orion XI herself begins to work from orbit: using engines and gravity projectors to slowly alter the planetโs trajectory, easing the destructive pull of its neighbors. Only when this succeeds can the stations below endure. The deeper the dropship drives into the storm, the more the systems falter. Navigation turns blind, displays blur into static. A silence spreads among the crew โ not because the danger has passed, but because no one knows what will happen next.
