Pretty Damn Perfect

When I was younger I never could see Didn't think about what I wanted to be Then I grew up with no aspirations Plenty of dreams and inspirations In time I learned that it didn't mean anything The day-to-day was the most important thing ohhhhh-woah-oh! Holes in my heart get patched up quickly It's a work of art but it's not that tricky I could complain, but I don't mind Negative thoughts I leave behind Here's to the life that I never knew I wanted Money would be nice, but I don't want it Never thought today would be so worth it Turns out my life is- Pretty damn perfect Headphones on just sitting on the swing Looking at the sky and pretending I could sing Melting in the summer and frozen in the fall I'd daydream for hours- not a care at all In time I learned that it didn't mean anything The day-to-day was the most important thing Holes in my heart get patched up quickly It's a work of art but it's not that tricky I could complain, but I don't mind Negative thoughts I leave behind Here's to the life that I never knew I wanted Money would be nice, but I don't want it Never thought today would be so worth it Turns out my life is- Pretty damn perfect Na na na na- na na na na Na na na na- na na na na Na na na na- na na na na Na na na na- Pretty damn perfect It's easy to look around And to think that you want more.
