[Verse 1] From the north, wake the ground From the south, let mercy sound From the east, bring morning near From the west, move through the fear No hand can hold You, no map can show Where You begin or where You go We hear Your sound; we feel the change Your living breath moves through the flame [Pre-Chorus] Open the windows, loosen the sails Breathe through the silence, move through the veil No wall can hold what Your love sets free Come breathe Your life through me [Chorus] Blow, Spirit, blow—let the dry ground sing Blow, Spirit, blow—wake the sleeping spring North wind, south wind, carry Your song Breathe through the night till the dawn comes on Blow, Spirit, blow—let Your mercy flow Wherever You lead, we are ready to go No chain, no boundary can hold Your love Blow, Spirit, blow from the heavens above [Verse 2] From Your treasuries, the wild winds rise You gather the clouds, You kindle the skies You send the rain on the waiting land You turn the season with unseen hands Like grain through the winnower, sift my heart Let truth remain; let the false depart Let every hidden thing meet the light Let grace be my breath through the longest night [Pre-Chorus] Open the windows, loosen the sails Breathe through the silence, move through the veil No wall can hold what Your love sets free Come breathe Your life through me [Chorus] Blow, Spirit, blow—let the dry ground sing Blow, Spirit, blow—wake the sleeping spring North wind, south wind, carry Your song Breathe through the night till the dawn comes on Blow, Spirit, blow—let Your mercy flow Wherever You lead, we are ready to go No chain, no boundary can hold Your love Blow, Spirit, blow from the heavens above [Verse 3] Awake, north wind—come, south wind, rise Move through the garden where fragrance lies Let hidden spices awaken and pour Let love fill the room; let hope open the door Breath of Life, move through me Set my heart to Your rhythm, set my spirit free I cannot command where the wild wind goes But I can say yes when Your Spirit blows [Bridge] Listen—the air is alive Grace in the current, hope on the rise Truth like a shofar, clear and strong Love like a river carrying us on [Call and Response] Lead: Blow from the north!
