But somewhere along the way, it stopped being just about innocence — and became a story about endurance. “Atomic Teddy” His world collapsed, yet he stayed soft inside. Scorched and bruised, he crawled out of the ruins. Radioactive, sure — but patched up. In his tiny core, he carries his share of the warmth still burning in a world gone cold. This song is about what survives when everything else doesn’t — that quiet fire in people who’ve been through too much and still somehow find it in them to care. The ones that refuse to go numb, even when it would be easier to. It's about patching yourself up and holding your seams together.
