Sleepy Dreams

[Verse] The clock ticks loud but the room stays still Shadows creep like they're hunting a thrill Under the bed where the cold winds chill [Prechorus] Close your eyes but the dark won't hide The whispers crawl and slip inside [Chorus] Sleepy sleepy close your eyes Dreams will turn to lullabies Hush now hush don't make a sound Or the night will pull you down [Verse 2] A creak on the floor like a ghost in chains The moonlight bends and the stars refrain Curtains sway like they’re breathing pain [Bridge] The pillow sighs it knows your fear The walls are alive they lean to hear A door that opens when no one's near [Chorus] Sleepy sleepy close your eyes Dreams will turn to lullabies Hush now hush don’t make a sound Or the night will pull you down
