Once in a far-off land, lived a man named Sam, who held in deep selfishness, he wanted everything, and shown no care, and had no time only for his own affairs. When he was of age to marry, he met a woman he fancied, and knew he had to have her . So, he set about with his charms and smarts to catch the fair maiden’s love. It took some time and a pretty dime, but in the end, he merried her. As time passed by the woman was scorn because he had tricked and deceived her, he made her think she was everything but treated her as a possession. She warned him if he didn’t show the warmth and love she needed, she would be leaving no matter what it cost him. From morning till night she went about scrubbing and dusting trying to make a home, she cooked every meal and made special jelly fills like the ones he had shown her. She dressed to allure him, she l on a warm summer’s night, sitting out below the stars, with her shimmering long hair and romance in the air, she waited for him to see her. Then he appeared andlooked at her, she was giving him the sexy eye needing his loving embrace , Yet again he just turned his head and replied, I’m going to bed , don’t stay up to late my dear!. in bed, he just turned his head and rolled his back to her. no kisses good night, not a squeeze tight not even a glimpse of Loving. , she was at her wits end, when she told him she was going. He paid no mind when she spoke, because he was much too busy with other folk to even try and hear her. She bid good night, holding a candle stick to shine its light as she walked home alone ., for he didn’t care and didn’t know she left him, , she walked to the house he called home. But to her it was a prison, A loveless stone shell with cold wooden rails that led her to the bedroom.. She packed the clothes she had before he wed her, wrote a note, and walked straight out of the prison he kept her held in . Arriving home drinking a bottle, won from a raffle he entered, stumbled to bed not seeing she fled her prison he, passed straight out without a mumble or doubt . When he awoke, he noticed her cloke was not where it once hung, he found her note , and this is how it read. I am not a piece of art you hang upon the wall; I am not your carpet to trample full of mud, I am not a statue or trophy to put upon a shelf, I am not your maids in waiting waiting nor your pals or mates you can push around and scowl.at to get your way, But I am the woman that was fooled by you, your lies and deceptions you knew would win in the end like an actor in a play, getting what you’re after you had everything plus you had me and threw the best away. You tossed me aside like an old worn tie never to use again, now I’m gone and your all alone I will never return where your concerned till death has done us in. well now Many years have passed by the man mourned of hhe didn’t understand his loss was by his own hand, so he cursed her everyday till the day he died. And upon his headstone this is what it says Here lies a man, who had everything ,but could not see the woman beside him who gave him everything and it was never enough because of his greed he couldn’t give the love she needed,, so he died alone not knowing still why she left him
