[Verse 1] don’t worry, I’ll make sure you hate me before I disappear I’ll give you every reason, make it perfectly clear I don’t wanna be here, I wanna go somewhere below somewhere underneath the pavement where nobody has to know I’ll eat an apple in the garden and I’ll bury all the seeds maybe something good will grow there maybe something good will leave [Chorus] don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me don’t worry, don’t worry I’ll make it easy I’ll make a mess, I’ll make you mad I’ll make you think I never cared don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me [Verse 2] I wanna be deep underground where the little bugs all run where the roots grow through the dirt and nobody knows anyone I’ll leave my name beneath the apple tree with a date I never write and if you ever find it you can say you knew me once, alright [Chorus] don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me don’t worry, don’t worry I’ll make it easy I’ll make a mess, I’ll make you mad I’ll make you think I never cared don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me [Bridge] maybe I’ll disappear for a while maybe I’ll go somewhere new maybe all these things I’m saying aren’t even really true [Final Chorus] don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me don’t worry, don’t worry I’ll make it easy I’ll make a mess, I’ll make you mad I’ll make you think I never cared don’t worry, don’t worry you won’t have to miss me
