[Verse] I had never been robbed before you took away my breath My mind is screaming “wounded” and my heart is crying “theft” I knew the gun was loaded but I didn’t think you'd kill I was looking for a trophy; I was just shooting for a thrill [CHORUS] Oh, don’t hold me up Oh, never slow me down No, don’t hold me up ‘Cause I'm coming down [verse] Stupid little cupid, guess he’s finally gotten smart Threw away his arrows, and took a shotgun to my heart He blew away my senses and shot my pride all full of holes You’ve left me defenseless and my life’s out of control [CHORUS] Oh, don’t hold me up Oh, never slow me down No, don’t hold me up ‘Cause I'm coming down [Bridge] (Comin' Down) Like a bat out of hell (Comin' Down) Like a runaway train on a downhill rail (Comin' Down) Like the rain in a hurricane's gust You can't slow me down, so don't hold me up (Don't Hold me up) No, No, No, No... (Don't Hold Me Up) [CHORUS] Oh, don’t hold me up Oh, never slow me down No, don’t hold me up ‘Cause I'm coming down [Outro] Oh, don’t hold me up Oh, don't slow me down No, don’t hold me up ‘Cause I'm coming for you...baby... So, Don't slow me down!
