Verse 1 The pastor speaks with authority divine, Not his own, but through God’s holy line. “Your sins are forgiven,” he boldly proclaims, In the triune God’s eternal name. Chorus "In the name of the Father, the Spirit, the Son, By Christ’s command, the victory’s won. Your sins are forgiven, be freed from despair, God’s mercy surrounds you, His love is there." Bridge With every word, the burden is gone, The Spirit restores, your heart is drawn. Lifted in grace, renewed by the Lord, His peace is your gift, His Word your reward. Final Chorus "In the name of the Father, the Spirit, the Son, By Christ’s command, the victory’s won. Your sins are forgiven, be freed from despair, God’s mercy surrounds you, His love is there."
