If “今日を抱いて” was a song about leaving the venue with the memory and afterglow of the night still with you, “LAST SONG (AGAIN)” starts from the same final moment and runs in the opposite direction.

The house lights are already on.
The doors are open.

And nobody wants to leave.

Instead of lingering on a goodbye, the band and the crowd keep dragging the night forward until everyone in the room becomes part of the same ridiculous mess.

In that sense, “LAST SONG (AGAIN)” is the louder, more dangerous “red-flavor” counterpart to “今日を抱いて.”

The song was also inspired by the playful, explosive live energy I felt in HYDE’s “6or9.”
