🎤 “Lord....” (A Felonious prayer song)
Lord… I ain’t askin’ for riches, I ain’t askin’ for fame. I’m askin’ for feet that follow You, Even when the road got no name. You gave me a second chance, Not to flex, not to stunt— But to lift up the ones Still stuck in the hunt. I seen blood on the floor, I seen hate in the eyes, But I also seen You When nobody else arrived. I was locked up with one eye open, But You kept me woke. I was surrounded by death, But You gave me hope. So now I walk with purpose, Not pride, not fear— Just a voice You gave me So the world might hear. Let me speak for the ones Who ain’t got no mic. Let me fight for the ones Who ain’t got no fight. Let me be the Samaritan Who don’t ask why— Just helps, just moves, Just lifts, just tries. I ain’t perfect, Lord, But I’m real. And if You can use this pain, Then let it heal. I don’t want a platform If it ain’t for You. I don’t want a spotlight If it don’t shine through. So guide my steps, Even when they stumble. Use my scars To make the proud humble. I’m Felonious, But You call me son. And I’ll keep walkin’ Till the work is done. Amen.
