DELIVERANCE HAS COME (Verse 1) I’ve been standing in the quiet of the night Waiting for the darkness to yield to the light I can feel a quiet thunder rolling deep in my soul Breaking down the walls that used to hold control There's something happening in the atmosphere And in my spirit, I can hear A shift is coming, clear and strong To take me right where I belong (Pre-Chorus) There’s a season of change that's coming my way I won't look back at yesterday Some things I won't understand But I must take out my will and trust the Master’s hand (Chorus) Breakthrough is happening and deliverance has come! The heavy chains are undone There’s no more time left to waste The work must be done I can hear the sound of freedom ring I’m stepping out to claim what tomorrow will bring Yes, deliverance has come And the work must be done! (Verse 2) No more hesitation, no more holding back Walking with purpose on this chosen track The doubts of the past have lost their call I’m laying my fears at the foot of it all Every heavy load is starting to lift I’m ready to receive this brand-new gift (Pre-Chorus) ’Cause there’s a season of change that's coming my way I won't look back at yesterday Some things I won't understand But I must take out my will and trust the Master’s hand (Chorus) Breakthrough is happening and deliverance has come! The heavy chains are undone There’s no more time left to waste The work must be done I can hear the sound of freedom ring I’m stepping out to claim what tomorrow will bring Yes, deliverance has come And the work must be done! (Bridge) (Building intensity — Call and Response) I hear the sound! (Deliverance has come!) I feel the change! (Deliverance has come!) No time to waste! (The work must be done!) By faith I stand! (In the Master's hand!) The atmosphere is shifting now! Every doubt is bowing down! (Chorus) Breakthrough is happening and deliverance has come! The heavy chains are undone There’s no more time left to waste The work must be done I can hear the sound of freedom ring I’m stepping out to claim what tomorrow will bring Yes, deliverance has come And the work must be done! (Outro) There's something happening in the atmosphere... I can hear it... Deliverance has come. The work must be done. (Fade out)
