Last Christmas I opened a box so neat

[Verse] Last Christmas I opened a box so neat It wasn’t love just a trick on repeat Fake hearts wrapped up in glitter and lies They popped like fireworks lighting the skies [Prechorus] I threw them hard watched them glow They burst in colors like a holiday show [Chorus] Boom boom holly explosions Christmas lights in motion Fake hearts cracking wide Holiday cheer inside Boom boom holly explosions A season’s crazy potion [Verse 2] They were squishy soft but full of tricks Like marshmallow dreams on peppermint sticks I tossed one high it hit the tree And suddenly it snowed on me [Prechorus] The tinsel rained the sparkles flew A wild display in red and blue [Chorus] Boom boom holly explosions Christmas lights in motion Fake hearts cracking wide Holiday cheer inside Boom boom holly explosions A season’s crazy potion
