The Loss of A Child: Letting Go The loss of a child is one of the most difficult things for parents to go through. The pain, loss and grief can be overwhelming. Having the support of other people is important, however, there comes a time when we have to let go so that we can be free to live again. Remembering does not always have to be painful. After reflecting on the children I have lost through miscarriages, I found it healing to my heart, mind and soul to write to them. The following is my heart letter to each of them. Letting Go Goodbye my little one, I love you. A part of you will always be with me. I just wanted you to know that there are no more tears in heaven. We are here to walk in God's love and then we give that love away. I give you to God. Your father did not know you, but your Father, Mother God is with you every second. I have the knowledge that you are safe in God’s arms of love, lost in God's embrace. Your presence here gave me hope. Every moment with you was a gift, a precious memory nothing can destroy. When God called you home too soon, I was lost. Now I know you are living in God’s love, according to God's plan for your life. Good-bye my little angel. For the grace and strength to carry on, I give you to God.
