Verse 1 One day along the road with His disciples, Jesus asked them, “Who do people say I am?” Some said, “You are John the Baptist,” Some said, “Elijah has returned again.” Then Jesus looked at those He loved and said, “But who do you say that I am?” Among the many answers of the world, He wanted to hear the answer of their hearts. Chorus Who am I, O Lord Jesus? Who am I in your life, my Lord? Through the changing seasons of this world, I will always come back to You. Simon Peter answered and proclaimed: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!” His confession echoed through the heavens: You are the faith I keep within my heart. Verse 2 Jesus said to Simon, “Blessed are you, For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. But My Father in Heaven has shown you The mystery of who I truly am.” Upon this faith My Church shall be built, Standing strong through every storm of life. You are the Christ, our only Savior, The Son of the living God forevermore!
