Remember What You Are

[Intro ] My brother, how willing are you to forgive? How much do you desire peace instead of the dream of conflict? Listen to Me now... You were not born to die. You were not made for fear. You are the Son of Life. [Verse 1 ] Lay down the world you made You do not need to carry it Release the past to Me And let forgiveness enter in You think the world can hurt you You think that love can disappear But I am here to show you There is nothing you need fear [Pre-Chorus] Look again with Me Let Me show you what is here The purpose has been changed And the dream is losing fear [Chorus ] I will show you a lovely world A world of peace and light Where forgiveness is the purpose And everything is made right I will show you happiness Where you thought there was loss And I will lead you gently Beyond the dream of time [Verse 2 ] The stars may fade before you The seasons come and go The world will change its forms But what you are, you will always know You are not what time has made You are not the body's name No ending can define you No dream can change your flame [Pre-Chorus] Give Me every purpose That you thought you had to keep Let Me change the meaning And let the dream release [Chorus ] I will show you a lovely world A world of peace and light Where forgiveness is the purpose And everything is made right I will show you happiness Where you thought there was loss And I will lead you gently Beyond the dream of time [Bridge] My brother... You do not need to escape the world to find the Kingdom. First, let Me change its purpose. What seemed to bind you can become your blessing. What seemed to frighten you can become your forgiveness. See this world with Me until it has nothing left to teach you. For when forgiveness has fulfilled its purpose, the world will no longer be needed. And when its purpose is complete, time will quietly disappear. [Build ] You will see the world anew You will see it as I see Not a place of death and loss But a place of letting free Every face becomes a gift Every moment becomes grace And slowly, quietly You remember your true place [Final Chorus] How lovely is the world When forgiveness is its light How free from fear How filled with joy and life How lovely is the world When you see it through My eyes Just a little while, my brother And timelessness arrives [Outro] My brother... Let forgiveness transform the world. Let its purpose be changed. And when forgiveness has done its work, you will not need the world anymore. You will not need time. You will remember... What you are has never changed. You are Life. You are Love. You are One.
