[Intro] [Verse 1] We were bound in the dark But Jesus opened the door We were lost in the night But He showed us the way He took the weight we carried He gave us peace in its place Now the chains that held us down Are broken by His grace [Pre-Chorus] No more fear in the house today No more shame gonna steal our praise The Son has spoken over us And every captive heart can say [Chorus] Free indeed Free indeed Who the Son sets free is free indeed Free indeed Free indeed Jesus broke the chains and we are free [Post-Chorus] We are free We are free We are free in Jesus We are free We are free Free indeed [Verse 2] There is joy in the morning There is peace in our soul There is fire in the people That the Lord has made whole Let the young ones sing it Let the old ones dance Let the church start moving We were born for this chance [Pre-Chorus] No more fear in the house today No more shame gonna steal our praise The Son has spoken over us And every captive heart can say [Chorus] Free indeed Free indeed Who the Son sets free is free indeed Free indeed Free indeed Jesus broke the chains and we are free [Call and Response] Who broke the chains? Jesus Who set us free? Jesus Who gives us joy? Jesus Who gets the praise? Jesus [Instrumental] [Final Chorus] Free indeed Free indeed Who the Son sets free is free indeed Free indeed Free indeed Jesus broke the chains and we are free [Post-Chorus] We are free We are free We are free in Jesus We are free We are free Free indeed [Outro] Jesus broke the chains Jesus made the way We are free forever Free indeed
