Backseat Pineapple (Neon Mutation Mix)

[Verse 1] Found a pineapple in your backseat Rolling loose by the spare tire Sticky little sun in a paper bag Like it fell out of the sky You said, “That’s mine for later” But you grinned like a liar Now it’s got your name on the tag And a crown full of fire [Pre-Chorus] If you say go, I’m in If you say stay, I’m there One weird fruit in the dark And I don’t even care [Chorus] Backseat pineapple Backseat pineapple You got me spinning, baby Backseat pineapple Sweet little trouble Sweet little trouble I was only driving home Now I’m driving in circles [Verse 2] We cracked it open at the corner store Juce on our hands, laughed too loud You wore the peel like a broken crown And the whole world stared at us Paper plates on the dashboard One bite and the night got loud You said, “Life tastes better sideways” And I almost spit out love [Pre-Chorus] If you say go, I’m in If you say stay, I’m there One weird fruit in the dark And I don’t even care [Chorus] Backseat pineapple Backseat pineapple You got me spinning, baby Backseat pineapple Sweet little trouble Sweet little trouble I was only driving home Now I’m driving in circles [Bridge] Maybe it’s silly Maybe it’s strange But I still see your smile In that yellow stain One bite, then another Then I’m not the same Who knew a little fruit Could learn my name [Final Chorus] Backseat pineapple Backseat pineapple You got me spinning, baby Backseat pineapple Sweet little trouble Sweet little trouble I was only driving home Now I’m driving in circles Backseat pineapple Backseat pineapple Hold my heart together Backseat pineapple
