Born in Rogue River, Oregon’s embrace, Delivered at home, in a loving space. Surrounded by family, with midwives near, A journey of life, filled with love and cheer. But at just fourteen months, fate took a turn, A febrile seizure, a lesson to learn. Brought back to life, my spirit stood tall, Though a compromised immune system challenged it all. Yet through it all, my faith held me tight, Guiding my choices, steering me toward light. An amazing childhood, rich and full, With memories of joy that make my heart pull. Now in labor and delivery, I find my true call, Carrying lessons of resilience, standing proud and tall. Each moment I cherish, each challenge I face, Fuels my devotion in this sacred space. For my past is a tapestry, woven with care, A testament to strength, a journey to share. So as you look deeper, know this to be true: My life is a canvas, and I’m painting it new.
