Free Grace, Not Free Sin

They said grace too cheap, but they never paid the cost, Try to measure the cross, man, you already lost. You talk works like it’s stocks, like you profit from the boss, But the Lamb ain’t hiring sinners, He bought ‘em with the loss. Free grace — but it bled red, never counterfeit, Heaven’s currency eternal, devil can’t counterfeit it. You want merit? He canceled it, wrote “Finished” and stamped it, I’m not freeloadin’—I’m faith-loadin’ where the Spirit camped it. Grace ain’t a license to sin, it’s a license to breathe, It’s the blood that lets the rebel drop the chains and believe. You think you keepin’ score while you point and deceive, But grace broke the system you built to achieve. Religion got rules, redemption got rest, Law wrote commands, but grace passed the test. You still talkin’ wages — I’m talkin’ gift, manifest, Unmerited favor — eternal address. I ain’t earnin’ crowns, they’re thrown down in submission, Every saint that’s been washed got the same admission. No resume, no pretense, no audition, Just faith in the Son — full remission. They mad ‘cause it’s free, they want credit for pain, But the Lamb took the debt, took the blame, took the shame. They call grace soft, like it’s watered or tame, But it’s fire from the throne, not a flicker, it’s flame. You can’t preach fear where the Spirit sets peace, You can’t bind souls where the shackles release. The Pharisee mindset? Legalistic disease, They talk law fluently but can’t speak “believe.” See, grace ain’t a hall pass, it’s the key to the gate, You still tryin’ to prove when He sealed your fate. Faith ain’t earned, it’s the hand that takes, The love that saves — no works to fake. If grace was earned, then Christ died in vain, Galatians 2:21 still wrecks your campaign. Y’all got performance but no remain, I got the Spirit — He sustains. You talk “good deeds,” I talk “new seed,” Born of heaven — that’s my creed. I don’t strive for favor — I proceed, Grace ain’t an option — it’s all I need. They call it fraud ‘cause it don’t fit their pride, They’d rather say “I climbed” than “He died.” They’d rather show effort than let Him reside, But His blood was the bridge — now we abide. See, pride hates mercy, flesh loves grind, But truth’s still truth — even if they’re blind. Grace ain’t cheap — it’s infinite kind, Bought by blood, sealed in mind. I ain’t boastin’ ‘bout freedom, I’m boastin’ in chains, ‘Cause grace flipped my life — rewired my brain. I don’t run for acceptance, I run from the pain, And every scar screams His name again. Pharaoh hearts still plague this age, Hardened minds still fight that page. But grace ain’t phased — it breaks the cage, Turns wrath to worship, grave to stage. You can quote law, I’ll quote cross, You can measure men — I’ll count loss. I’ll take mercy — you take gloss, I’ll take Jesus — at all costs. Free grace don’t mean I sin to brag, It means my sin don’t chain, don’t drag. It means His life replaced my bag, Now I’m sealed in truth, no tag. Yeah, they hate what they can’t control, Grace don’t bend, it saves the soul. They build walls — He paid the toll, The bloodline runs through every scroll. Religion talks like it owns the key, But heaven opened, said, “Come to Me.” They said, “Earn your way,” He said, “It’s free,” The cross the cost — grace the decree. So say what you want, but the Word don’t shift, Every work you stack still misses the lift. Faith alone, Christ alone, grace the gift, That’s the Gospel — not myth. So next time you say “cheap grace” again, Remember the price of the nail and the sin. The blood ain’t broke, the seal ain’t thin, Free grace — not free sin.
