Drowning in an Illusion

This wall of sound Leaves me in peril Floating on a system Carved out of fear Life is like a wave You balance on a string Floating in destruction Wreckage from the years I found you in the swell Drowning in confusion Did I save you from this terror? Or am I just an illusion? Bury, bury my cry Clawing through the rising tide I found you in the swell Drowning in confusion Did I save you from this terror? Or am I just an illusion?
