The Ballad of the Ghost of Galkirk Castle

[Verse] In the halls where shadows beckon Third son's wailin' every second Fell down stairs a tragic night Now he roams forever fright [Verse 2] Galkirk Castle tales they tell Of a ghost who once he fell Restless soul can't find his way Wanders through both night and day [Chorus] Oh the ghost of Galkirk's stair Echoes of his sorrowed tear Silent whispers in the air Mourn the boy who fell down there [Verse 3] Every night when moon is high Hear his footsteps as they fly Up and down he takes his flight Seeking peace not in his sight [Bridge] Candles flicker as he roams Heart with sadness deeply combs Restless soul forever grieves In these timeless castle leaves [Chorus] Oh the ghost of Galkirk's stair Echoes of his sorrowed tear Silent whispers in the air Mourn the boy who fell down there
