Golden chains (Remastered)

V5

(Verse 1) In halls of marble, high above the fray, He stands a beacon, so he likes to say. A righteous man, with pockets overflowing, While God's own children in the flood are going. The rain is lashing, winds begin to bite, He slams the doors, and sleeps sound through the night. "A holy man," he whispers, smooth and deep, As hungry bellies moan themselves to sleep. Donations float, on winds of empty grace, He grabs them all, a rat in sacred space. (Verse 2) They claim descent from a celestial line, Ninety-eight percent, and still they want what's mine. "You peons," they declare, with haughty sneer, "Deserve your crumbs, your toil, your constant fear." They build their empires on our broken backs, And thanklessness is all that they seem to lack. They feast on plenty, we on scraps and rust, And praise the leeches sucking out our trust. (Verse 3) Oh, how the world would shift on its axis true, If we refused to dance to their deceitful tune! If hands stopped fighting, aimed at a common foe, And crushed the rot that festers down below. Imagine striving, not for fleeting gain, But humankind, escaping endless pain! Not bowing down, to those who hold the rein, But building futures, breaking free from the chain. (Verse 4) Their puppets dance, on screens of silver light, Dictating love, and wrong from what is right. They sell their products, whispered in our ear, While modern chains grow heavier each year. We swallow stories, pre-approved and bland, Constructed echoes, in this poisoned land. (Verse 5) The news is bought, the actors well-rehearsed, A twisted history, meticulously dispersed. They rewrite legends, to solidify their hold, And silence truths, that must not now be told. They want to strip away the past, the fight, And leave us blind within their endless night. (Verse 6) So stand up now, and shake the chains away, And burn their gilded world down to the clay! Reclaim the birthright, stolen long ago, Sever their tongues, before the crimson flow. For peace won't blossom from compliance meek, But from the storm, where broken spirits speak. From war against the wicked, bold and bright, We'll seize the dawn and claim our stolen light!
