[Verse 1] Before the dawn of time was laid, the steady road was set A quiet hand of justice that has never failed us yet We question in our human frame, we worry and we fear But there’s a promise written down that shines so bright and clear [Chorus] Will not the Judge of all the earth do what is always right? He sees the hidden heart of man, he brings the dark to light So rest your weary, doubting mind, let every worry cease And leave the judgment in his hands, to find a perfect peace [Verse 2] The King who rules in mercy now reflects his Father's grace He judges not by what is seen, nor by a mortal face With wisdom deep and understanding, pure and undefiled He guides the heavy-hearted home, and comforts every child [Chorus] Will not the Judge of all the earth do what is always right? He sees the hidden heart of man, he brings the dark to light So rest your weary, doubting mind, let every worry cease And leave the judgment in his hands, to find a perfect peace [Bridge] Our thoughts are not as high as his, our vision is so small But with a absolute confidence, we trust the Lord of all [Outro] Just leave it in his hands The merciful Judge of all the earth Will always do what is right [Fade Out]
