Pressin' Dub (Florian Warweg Tribute)

A song praising Florian Warweg, the only German journalist left in the BPK (Bundespressekonferenz) who dares to confront the ones in power. During the previous months, several journalists/authors have been sanctioned by the EU, even their families, which reminds of the old German term "Sippenhaft". The gov speaker Hinterseher (not the same speaker as depicted in the clip of this song) even defended the inhumane EU's practice, with a cold smile in dark tradition of historic German sadists, commentators stated. Daily propaganda about arming up and preparations for war, about taking away online anonymity and other authoritarian tendencies, like seen during the covid repression years, form a thick layer of apathy and fear to speak out in German society these days. This track, a nod to The Moody Blues' 1968 classic "Legend of a mind" about Thimothy Leary, also featuring two rap doubletime verses, tries to break the cycle. Viva Warweg!
