[Verse 1) We were there when you were born And our whole world changed that day Small hands, big eyes, little smile in our arms We love you more than words can ever say We watched our son become your father Watched the years move slowly by Every step you took toward your future We smiled and wiped the tears from our eyes [Pre-Chorus] Never missed your birthday Every candle, every stola we would sing Took you to your first day of school Watched you find your wings [Chorus] We love you so much We’re So proud of you We love you so much Be kind and take pride in all you do Carry our love Through the highs and through the lows Carry our love Wherever you go [Verse 2] Every single year, we were right there Backpack on, shoes tied tight Standing at the school doors Holding back tears of pride We watched you decide who you are Watched your dreams take shape and start every choice you made, we saw you grow You’re gonna change this world, of this we’re sure [Pre-Chorus] These were our favorite years I wish we could always stay You made a house of memories Out of ordinary days [Chorus] We love you so much We’re So proud of you We love you so much Be kind and take pride in all you do Carry our love Through the highs and through the lows Carry our love Wherever you go [Bridge] If the road gets long If the night feels cold Look for us in the lessons And the stories we’ve told We’ll be in your laughter In the bravery that’s in your chest In the way you keep on going When you do your very best [Chorus] We love you so much We’re So proud of you We love you so much Be kind and take pride in all you do Carry our love Through the highs and through the lows Carry our love Wherever you go [Outro] So chase your dreams Whatever they are Big or small Go chase them all No matter how much you grow One thing i know You will carry our love Wherever you go
