Let’s talk about grit, let’s talk about tough, When we talk about this, we don’t talk about us, We talk about the ones who put themselves first, who sacrificed it all, the ones who gave it up, The ones who carried the stars, who carried the stripes, Who put our country, on their back, so we, can sleep at night…… It’s a soldier, It’s a marine, It’s a ranger and A seal team, a green beret, a Fighter pilot, or a night vision sniper up a mile high….. But… You Know what that ain’t….? That ain’t you, And That ain’t me…… They point and shoot, They toss Granades, from rooftops they’ll snipe thousand yard brigades, Sneak up behind, a crouching perp, cut their throats without a word, They charge from front, no wait behind, flank your left, airstrike your right, this force can not, be reckoned with, US ARMED FORCES ARE TOUGHRN’ SHIT!!!! It’s a soldier, It’s a marine, It’s a ranger and A seal team, a green beret, A fighter pilot, a night vision sniper up a mile high….. You Know what…… That might be you, But That ain’t me…… Realize who our hero’s are, Not a baseball stud or a movie star, The real hero’s fight for what is right and some never make it home, Some make it back with missing parts shrapnel in their bones, broken skin stitches staples and patches on their eyes, There’s one thing that isn’t broke and it’s the spirit that’s inside…..!!! they fought for you, they fought for me….. For them…. That’s a win…… Let’s raise them up above ourselves and never let them forget, it’s because of them we live the life that we get to live, selfless strides across the earth to stomp out all the threats, Pointed at the MIGHTY USA… so don’t ever forget, you can try to think that you’re tough, but you don’t know, what tough is…. Until you try and Fuck with us……..!!!! You are soldiers, You are Marines, You are Rangers, You’re seal teams And Green Berets….. Fighter pilots flying by, And night vision snipers up a mile high…. Thank you for being you, cuz thats not me….. So….. I say thank you all, To all the vets , who served this land and all serving now, I really wish you got the credit, that all you deserve, You are the real hero’s to me!
