Troy Dooly, Talk Is Cheap — Show Me the Proof!

[Intro – Spoken, low voice over a slow guitar riff] You say you know the man. You say you've heard his side. But when the money starts talking... There's nowhere left to hide. [Verse 1] Troy's got a story, Troy's got a name, Twenty years talking in the marketing game. Says he's read the records, says he's seen it all, But knowing Marty Hale don't answer every call. Two days talking, behind closed doors, What about the credits? What are people paying for? You can shake his hand, you can call him a friend, But where does the money go when the payments end? [Pre-Chorus] Don't tell me what he promised, Don't tell me what he said. Put the numbers on the table, Let the documents be read! [Chorus – Big, powerful, anthemic] SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! SHOW ME THE PROOF! Don't sell me another story, I want the honest truth! SHOW ME THE MONEY! SHOW ME THE PLAN! You can stand beside the founder, But you've still got to understand! No more smoke, no more pretence, SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! [Verse 2] Back in twenty-thirteen, the SEC came calling, ZeekRewards was finished, and the house was falling. Six thousand a month was the consulting deal, The regulator said the payments weren't revealed. A civil settlement, let's get the record straight, Not a criminal conviction, don't exaggerate. But when you're talking business and you're taking a stand, Transparency's a rule that applies to every man. [Pre-Chorus] You can question the reporters, You can challenge what we say. But bring the facts and figures, Let the evidence lead the way! [Chorus] SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! [Verse 3 – Driving guitars, building intensity] They call it AI credits, they say it ain't MLM, But there's an upline in the paperwork, So explain that one again! Packages and commissions, a leaderboard to climb, Who's buying all those credits, and who's getting paid each time? Stripe stopped processing, the questions multiplied, The answers need a paper trail, not someone taking sides. A product might be working, but that doesn't prove the scheme, Can customers sustain it, or is recruitment driving the dream? [Bridge – Music drops, spoken with intensity] Troy, you called the marketing sketchy. You said the packages pay commissions. You said the money matters. Well, on that much... We agree. But you don't get to dismiss the questions... Just because you've spoken to the man. [Final Chorus – Full band, backing vocals] SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! SHOW ME THE PROOF! Don't sell me another story, I want the honest truth! SHOW ME THE MONEY! SHOW ME THE PLAN! A private conversation Isn't something we can examine! SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! LET THE DOCUMENTS SPEAK! When the numbers tell the story, That's the truth we're here to seek! No more smoke, no more pretence, SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE! [Outro – Slow, heavy guitar, spoken] I'm not asking you to take my word. I'm not asking you to take his. I'm asking you to look at the evidence. Because the truth... Doesn't need a spokesman. It needs proof.
