Every day, all across our hometown There are people showing up, getting things done Lending a hand, finding a way Making Orange County stronger every day From helping a neighbor get back on their feet To feeding a family with something to eat Opening doors and changing lives Together, this community thrives [Chorus] Here’s to the helpers, here’s to the heart Here’s to the people all doing their part Big dreams, small teams, answering the call Making a difference for one and for all Today we celebrate all that you do The countless ways that you see people through Orange County is better because of you Happy National Nonprofit Day to you! [Verse 2] Some teach and mentor, some shelter and feed Some step right in when a neighbor's in need Some care for children, some help families grow And some do the work that few people know Different missions, but one thing is true Our community is stronger because of you Side by side, we're finding a way To build a better tomorrow today [Chorus] Here’s to the helpers, here’s to the heart Here’s to the people all doing their part Big dreams, small teams, answering the call Making a difference for one and for all Today we celebrate all that you do The countless ways that you see people through Orange County is better because of you Happy National Nonprofit Day to you! [Bridge] Every volunteer, every helping hand Every person willing to take a stand Every organization, every cause Today is your day — take the applause! [Final Chorus] Here’s to the helpers, here’s to the heart Here’s to the people all doing their part Different missions, united this way Making Orange County better every day So here's to the work and the people who do it The passion, the purpose, the heart you bring to it Orange County is better because of you Happy National Nonprofit Day to you!
