[Verse 1] Starting on the right path, With prayer and Truth in hand. You’re smoothing out the rough spots, So, I can rise and stand. I’m walking on with courage, No excuses in my way. You lift me higher as I start my day. [Pre Chorus] For all the holes from my debts— You’ve covered them with grace. Your mercy meets me quickly, Just around the bend I face. [Chorus] You renew my purpose, Lord, And I live to give You honor. From repentance comes restoration— Right around the corner. You’re the Healer of our nation And I embrace the call You’ve given, Asking for guidance in doing what I can. So shape my life with Your own power, Lead me on in Your great plan. [Verse 2] I welcome in the risen Christ, Let His heartbeat shape my own. Your plan provides the victory, Your presence is my home. Your Word becomes my blueprint, Every promise tried and true. I’m building on the Cornerstone— The One You sent to make me new. [Bridge] Every step is guided, Every breath is Yours. I’m walking in the future You’ve already secured. Your mercy keeps on meeting me, For with Your love, I’ve won— I’m living in the victory Of the resurrected Son. [Final Chorus] You renew my purpose, Lord, And I live to give You honor. From repentance comes restoration— Right around the corner. You’re the Healer of our nation And I embrace the call You’ve given, Asking for guidance in doing what I can. So shape my life with Your own power, Lead me on in Your great plan.
