Step Ahead Today

Verse 1 I’m gonna step ahead today, With Jesus walkin’ at my side. Into an incredible future, Knowin’ God will still provide. A future goin’ farther Than imagination’s borders wide, Where His Word keeps speakin’ to me, Givin’ my holy orders for the ride. Verse 2 His lessons call me back again, To that narrow, faithful way. To fight and win the battles Today and every day. With the weapons of the Spirit, I stand strong in His light— The sword of His Word in my hand, Cutting through the darkest night. Chorus So I’ll step ahead with courage, With His fire in my heart. Faith rising like a shield To stop every burning dart. Salvation guards my mind, Truth sets my spirit free. I’ll spread the Good News boldly— ’Cause His victory lives in me. Bridge I’m movin’ on to win this race, A champion of amazing grace. Strengthened by the One who stands with me— Because the cross meant to kill Has become my victory. Final Chorus So I’ll step ahead with courage, With His fire in my heart. Faith rising like a shield To stop every burning dart. Salvation guards my mind, Truth sets my spirit free. I’ll keep on walkin’ forward— ’Cause Jesus won it all for me.
