When the world passed through the shadows of time and silence I felt the chill deep in my heart, in the arteries of being in the absence of life no smile floated in the sky with the non- persistence of memory stone marked geometries spun the world around in trigonometries of shapes and signs filled like tumbleweeds Like the time gravity stopped so I held on to the Earth with my hands as my feet fell downward toward the sky time and the deeper space of infinity closed the world all around while everyone else fell off like detritus to theoretical ends though no one let go Green lines, blue lines of clay shaped globes were places where memories built and spirit and soul resided like waterfalls glistening up in sunlight for the primary purpose of love Such were fields overgrown on prairies with a desolate spired house watching decades alone like today was distant for no one for no one was distance too far with silent songbirds and empty grain silos constructions of years past in concrete remained with painted lettering fading away.
