[Verse 1] The thunder shook King Arthur's hall A brilliant light shone over all A sacred chalice came in sight Concealed beneath a veil of white The Knights stood tall to make their claim To seek the Grail in Heaven's name I stood with them before the King Prepared for what the quest might bring [Chorus] Heaven is calling to those who believe In something greater than Kings can achieve Heaven is calling beyond the night To guide the faithful to the light And when the darkest night is falling We follow that light For Heaven is calling [Verse 2] The sacred path revealed to me The kind of Knight I could not be My strength had carried me through war But Heaven's call demanded more My heart belonged to Guinevere And that was something I held dear Though I could never claim that sacred prize I've found my Grail within her eyes [Chorus] Heaven is calling to those who believe In something greater than Kings can achieve Heaven is calling beyond the night To guide the faithful to the light And when the darkest night is falling We follow that light For Heaven is calling [Verse 3] Returning home, I crossed his trail My son, still searching for the Grail He told me of the trials he'd known And how his strength had only grown I told him, son your heart is true Have faith in all you see and do We parted with a warm embrace I knew he'd find that sacred place [Chorus] Heaven is calling to those who believe In something greater than Kings can achieve Heaven is calling beyond the night To guide the faithful to the light And when the darkest night is falling We follow that light For Heaven is calling [Verse 4] I heard the news but couldn't see How such a thing could ever be The Grail was found, his quest was won Yet Heaven now had claimed my son I tried to speak but tears would fall As sorrow seemed to fill the hall Yet through my grief I came to see He'd reached the place he longed to be He answered Heaven's sacred call And earned the greatest gift of all [Chorus] Heaven is calling to those who believe In something greater than Kings can achieve Heaven is calling beyond the night To guide the faithful to the light And when the darkest night is falling We follow that light For Heaven is calling Heaven is calling [Chorus] Heaven is calling to those who believe In something greater than Kings can achieve Heaven is calling beyond the night To guide the faithful to the light And when the darkest night is falling We follow that light For Heaven is calling Heaven is calling
