Choose the Better Way

Journey Through the Nemenhah Sacred Records Lesson 10 One Generation of Peace Two Nations. Two Choices. Two Very Different Futures. (Spoken Narration — Do Not Sing) Come closer... Welcome back to Journey Through the Nemenhah Sacred Records. I'm Talking Feather. Today we begin a new book... The Book of Hahgmehni. When Hahgohtl finished his record, the people had finally found the land the Lord had prepared. After years of sacrifice... they were home. Now Hahgmehni takes up the sacred record. The first thing that caught my attention wasn't something he said about himself. It was what he said about his father. He quietly testified... "My father told the truth." Then Hahgmehni asked us to look at two neighboring peoples. One continued trying to follow the Peacemaker. The other slowly drifted away. One found peace. The other found pride... greed... and secret combinations. As I read those pages, I couldn't help wondering... How does a nation lose its way? Hahgmehni's answer surprised me. He didn't begin with armies. He began with hearts. Before people lose a nation... they first lose their desire to follow the Peacemaker. Maybe that's why he wrote this record. Not simply to preserve history... but to help future generations choose a better path. As we continue reading together, let's ask ourselves one simple question... What kind of generation are we becoming? Thank you for walking this path with me. Next time... Hahgmehni teaches us another remarkable lesson about stewardship, the land, and the choices that shape the future of a people. Until then... keep reading the Record... and keep listening for the voice of the Peacemaker. 🎵 Closing Song (20–30 Seconds) Choose the Better Way One heart... One light... One faithful road each day. One choice... One step... Can lead us far away. Walk with Him... Hold to peace... Let His love remain. One generation... Can bless the world... When hearts bear His holy name.
