Verse 1 I’m standin’ strong and true, Lord, With Your Word to guide my way. You keep my heart steady When the winds begin to sway. This faith You’re buildin’ in me Ain’t just for here and now— It’s a long haul kind of journey, And I’m holdin’ to You somehow. Pre-Chorus When the pressure starts to rise, And the world pushes back hard, I plant my feet on Scripture And I trust in who You are. Chorus I’m standin’ true by Your Word, Holdin’ tight to what You say. You keep me level in Your sight, You lead me day by day. With blessed assurance in my soul, I know You honor the faithful. Jesus, build my faith up strong— Keep me steady, right, and grateful. Verse 2 I’m walkin’ as a person Of character and grace, Shaped by Your good mercy And the fire of Your embrace. I’ll speak Your Word with courage Even when the road gets tough; ‘Cause You’re my strength and shelter, And Your love is more than enough. Bridge You line up my heart, You set me straight and right; You keep me walkin’ steady In the middle of the fight. Forever I’ll be faithful, Forever I’ll remain— A witness to Your goodness, A vessel for Your name. Final Chorus I’m standin’ true by Your Word, Holdin’ tight to what You say. You keep me level in Your sight, You lead me day by day. With blessed assurance in my soul, I know You honor the faithful. Jesus, build my faith up strong— Keep me steady, right, and grateful.
