πΆ Song 176 β Beyond the Falling Stones
Paper 176 β Tuesday Evening on Mount Olivet πΆ Song: Beyond the Falling Stones (Verse 1 β The Temple at Sunset) The evening sun on marble white, Jerusalem adorned with light. The temple shone in golden flame, As Matthew softly spoke its name. "Master, look how strong it stands, Built by wisdom, wealth, and hands." Then Jesus turned toward Olivet: "These stones shall fall. Remember this." The hill grew still. The night drew near. And heaven listened there. (Verse 2 β The Vision Beyond the Temple) They saw a building crowned in gold, A sacred story centuries old. He saw nations yet unborn, A world through countless ages formed. They feared the ruin of a place. He saw the progress of a race. They watched the present slip away. He watched Light and Life someday. For what are stones to souls that rise? What are walls to Paradise? (Chorus) Beyond the falling stones, Beyond Jerusalem, Beyond the rise and fall of kingdoms, His vision never ends. The Father guides the ages. The universe moves on. And every child who seeks His will Belongs where they belong. (Verse 3 β Trials Before the Dawn) "You'll hear of wars. And rumors spread. You'll face the courts. Some may be dead. The synagogues may cast you out. The rulers may accuse and shout. Yet do not fear the days ahead, Nor let your faith be overcome." For earthquakes come. And empires fade. Yet still the Father's purposes remain. (Verse 4 β A Common Error) How often mortals mistake the sign, Confusing clocks with the divine. They see a crisis and proclaim: "The final hour at last has came." Yet every age has spoken so, As wave after wave of history flows. The Master gently raised their eyes Beyond catastrophe and surprise. The Father's plan is larger far Than any nation's wound or scar. (Verse 5 β The Return) Then came the question still asked today: "When shall the Son return this way?" The Master gave no date to know, No chart to draw, no years to show. The times remain within God's hand, Far beyond what men have planned. Yet one assurance filled the air: Michael shall return someday there. (Bridge β The Living Return) But perhaps He comes in ways unseen, Where mortal eyes have never been. Whenever truth defeats a lie, Whenever faith begins to rise. Whenever hatred yields to love, Whenever hearts seek things above. Whenever souls are born of spirit, The Master's life shines once more within it. (Verse 6 β The World to Come) The Kingdom is not built through fear. Its greatest victories appear Across the centuries yet to be, Through truth and growing liberty. The path of Urantia is not despair. Its destiny is something fair. Not endless darkness. Not final flame. But worlds transformed in the Father's name. The age of Light. The age of Life. The healing of humanity's strife. (Verse 7 β Michael's Perspective) They stood beneath a moonlit sky, While destiny was drawing nigh. The cross was waiting just ahead. The path toward Calvary nearly spread. Yet Michael's mind embraced it all: The rise, the growth, the final call. The faithful mortals yet to climb. The mansion worlds beyond all time. The ascenders reaching Paradise. The Supreme growing through their lives. (Final Chorus) Beyond the falling stones, Beyond the passing years, Beyond the fears of mortal minds, Beyond humanity's tears. The Father's will is moving. The eternal purpose lives. And every soul that walks by faith Receives what Heaven gives. Beyond the falling stones, A brighter age is born. And through the long ascent of worlds, Awaits a greater dawn. (Outro) The temple fell. Jerusalem changed. Empires vanished. History turned the page. But the Kingdom endured. The Spirit remained. And far beyond the Mount of Olivet, Michael still sees the age of Light and Life coming toward Urantia. β¨πππ
