Paper 147 – The Interlude Visit to Jerusalem

(Introduction)
To Jerusalem the Master came,  
Teaching all in the Father's name.  
Not seeing souls as people see,  
But what through love they yet could be.

A Roman soldier humbly prayed,  
And trust, not rank, the pathway made.  
For faith may blossom anywhere,  
The Father's children live everywhere.

The rulers watched with doubtful eyes,

Beside the pool a sufferer lay,

The Master healed and showed anew,

The Father's way became the sign.

Not only do as you'd receive,  
But learn as Heaven would perceive.  
To see through God's eternal view,  
And love as He is loving you.
