Right now. Just read my mind. If you could look inside, you’d see it all. The absolute truth of it. I wish you could look right through me, and see what's happening. In my chest. Just read my mind Before the moment is gone. Because no word can describe it. No spoken word could ever hold this. It’s right there, behind my eyes. A pure reflection of you. I want you to feel the impact. I just want you to know. I wish you could read my mind. Because you would see. My honest admiration. You would see it clear. Clear as day. Without a single word. You would just see... how beautiful you are. How incredibly beautiful you are. I wish you could look right through me. Just look right through me. Before the moment is gone. Before you walk away. I wish you could read my mind. Because no word can describe it. No words are enough. You would see my admiration. My honest admiration. Without a single word. You would just see... how beautiful you are. How incredibly beautiful you are. How beautiful you are. How incredibly beautiful you are. Just read my mind. And see how incredibly beautiful you are. ©2026 FL.AIR | All Rights Reserved Crafted with love, passion, a touch of soul, a weird sense of Humor and so much more. I think the song speaks for itself, but if you’d like to read a few honest thoughts on it... “Just Read My Mind” is a deeply intimate piano ballad about how, in a fleeting moment, one perceives the beauty of another person and is emotionally overwhelmed by it, whilst feeling unable to express this adequately in words. It's about holding back not because the feelings are weak, but because they are too sincere. There is a fear that spoken compliments might sound superficial, flirtatious or misunderstood, even though the admiration is, in reality, pure, immediate and deeply sincere. So, rather than trying to ‘convince’ the other person with words, the person wishes they could simply read his mind and see the truth directly. At its core, the song is about the tragedy of fleeting human encounters: seeing someone, being deeply moved by their presence, realising that the moment will pass and the other person will never know. Because I don't know a single song about these tragic moments, I thought it was time to make one. Pure, honest and direct.
