We sing of Nature’s architecture, more ancient than continents, older than lungs breathing air, born in sponges six hundred million years wise, maritime pioneers, waiting through fathomless nights for “The Tree of Life.” “…and the sails of every sailing ship, All who walked, flew or swam Through seas of time unraveling Bearing seeds of antiquity’s plan” We sing of the ancient “herb bearing seed” a long-stalked wanderer flown across seas in avian gizzards, walked out of Asia with the first shamans, riding in pouches of Scythian horse-women, burned in the censers of Canaan, who wrapped the ropes for countless mariners… and the sails of every dreaming ship, never once a stranger to any creature that walked or flew or swam. I celebrate the seed that remembers antiquity. and the sails of every sailing ship, All who walked, flew or swam Through seas of time unraveling Bearing seeds of antiquity’s plan.
